Strangeways Radio followers have seemingly united in their love for Drab Majesty. Their 2017 album The Demonstration has been in the year end best of lists for many of you, and the band has achieved similar success in the local club scenes. We are eagerly anticipating their next album, Modern Mirror, due out in July.
We have previously featured the first single off the album Ellipses. At the time, we said the new single picked up right where The Demonstraton left off. Today, Drab Majesty has released the second single Long Division. This time, they have taken their sound to the next level. While picking their best song might be like asking you to choose between cookies and cake, if forced to choose…Long Division might very well be the answer. The music has the perfect level of gazy shimmery guitars and the vocal melodies are on point. This band just keeps getting better and better. We recommend you see them now in small venues before they blow up.
